PRODUCT LINE
SCFTI produces a complete range of air restraint fabrics for driver, passenger, side impact, knee bag and roll-over applications.   Our production equipment is designed for high quality and maximum fabric forming capability.  Fabric design and selection is coordinated with our experienced sales associates and our research and development staff is available for new application initiatives.  All fabrics are fully inspected and tested to customer specification in our ISO-17025 accredited laboratories.  All current product specifications and fabric samples are available upon request.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

 

SCFTI invests hundreds of thousands annually in the search for the perfect product.

 

We work both independently and in conjunction with the automotive component manufacturers.  All our development samples are manufactured on production equipment and are diligently tested to better understand our new ideas.

 

TESTING CAPABILITY

 

Our laboratory maintains both physical and chemical performance testing capability.  We are accredited against the requirements of ISO/IEC-17025 and will be assessed against the new ISO/IEC 17025 in June 2001.  The laboratory has a very comprehensive scope of accreditation using consensus methods from domestic and international standards.  These include ASTM, AATCC, NFPA, ISO, DIN and JIS L-1096.  See our laboratory web site for more details.
