-Automotive Safety Components International SRL, Sighisoara, Romania;

These businesses supply driver, passenger and side impact airbags for such prominent automotive manufacturers as Mercedes, Porsche, Saab, Opel, Rover, BMW, Volkswagen and Audi. Our manufacturing operations focus on supplying customers products in the most efficient and flexible manner.

The European Development Centre in Hildesheim, Germany, offers customers a comprehensive service from airbag design and materials engineering to sample production. This extensive capability draws on 20 years experience in the forefront of airbag development.

Making maximum use of CAD/CAM technology, our engineers are able to work closely with customers to achieve cost effective solutions meeting the highest standards of performance quality. All projects are supported by a fully equipped materials evaluation laboratory capable of testing to international standards of environmental stress conditions.

Prototypes of the resulting designs are manufactured in a dedicated sample production facility equipped with laser cutting and CNC sewing machines. Customers are thus offered a complete and flexible service, capable of providing a quick reaction for development of airbags from the concept stage through hand over to series production.
